MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OCTOBER 9, 2008 <br />end of the building and the storage container to the back of the building will <br />be adequate for Fire Department access. <br />Stanke reported that he also rents to a lawn maintenance company. They <br />have 1 large trailer, 3 or 4 small trailers, and 4 or 5 pick-up trucks which <br />will be stored outdoors. Stanke reported that he owns the only other trailer <br />that would be stored on the property. He also reported that he typically <br />brings his pontoon boat to the property in the spring for some work. <br />The City Planner recommended the following conditions of approval: <br />o No hazardous materials storage in containers, which is a <br />basic Code requirement; <br />o All storage must be moved off the railroad property. The <br />Planner noted that there is a zero setback from the property <br />line for outdoor storage; <br />o Relocation of outdoor storage items on the property to <br />comply with setback requirements. <br />Knudsen noted that Mr. Stanke has indicated that he will comply with the <br />recommendations contained in the Code Enforcement Officer's report dated <br />October 2, 2008. <br />Pechmann recommended approval of the Amendment to Conditional Use <br />Permit requested by Mr. Roger Stanke for property at 209 Ryan Drive <br />subject to compliance with the recommendations of the Code Enforcement <br />Officer as outlined in her report dated October 2, 2008, and subject to <br />compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner as outlined <br />below: <br />o No hazardous materials storage in containers, which is a <br />basic Code requirement; <br />o All storage must be moved off the railroad property.
