MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 8, 2008 <br />difficult, and the current condition of the building is a detriment to those <br />efforts. <br />Blesener asked if new windows would be installed this fall. Wagner <br />reported that that is their goal. Blesener asked the differences from the <br />former proposal to this new one. Wagner noted that when the wood EFIS <br />was removed from the exterior, they discovered a trim piece around the <br />top of the building that provides for some building height variation. They <br />would like to retain this trim. Wagner indicated that for the most part, all <br />other improvements remain as proposed in the development agreement. <br />The City Administrator indicated that if the Council finds the <br />modifications acceptable, it can approve them at this time. He suggested <br />that amendments to the Development Agreement could be delayed until <br />the project proceeds further in the event additional modifications are <br />necessary. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2008-10-248 -AGREEING, IN PRINCIPLE, <br />WITH THE BUILDING EXTERIOR CHANGES PROPOSED BY <br />MIDWEST GYMNASTICS AS PRESENTED THIS EVENING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />HOM The City Administrator reported that representatives of Hom <br />FURNITURE Furniture have informed him that it their intent to proceed with the <br />redevelopment of the former Levitz building as proposed.
