Blesener suggested that given the current economy there may be <br />sweeping companies going out of business which may result in good <br />equipment being on the market. <br />RESCHEDULE The City Administrator noted that the Council has scheduled a public <br />CANABURY hearing to consider the adoption of an Housing Improvement Area (HIA) <br />TOWNHOUSES Ordinance for the Canabury Townhouses for this evening. However, the <br />HIA MEETING townhome association requested that the hearing be held on November <br />12`x' in order to give them more time to get information out to their <br />homeowners. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2008-IO-251- RESCHEDULING THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OFA HOUSING <br />IMPROVEMENT AREA ORDINANCE FOR THE CANABURY <br />TOWNHOUSES TO WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2008 AT 7:30 <br />P.M. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ADOPTION OF <br />SUMMARY <br />ORDINANCES - <br />STORMWATER <br />MANAGEMENT <br />ORDINANCE <br />AND <br />EROSION <br />CONTROL <br />ORDINANCE <br />The City Administrator noted that the Stormwater Management Ordinance <br />and the Erosion Control Ordinance are quite lengthy. The City Attorney <br />has prepared summary ordinances for publication, and the City <br />Administrator recommended adoption of these summary ordinances. <br />Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO.2008-10-252 -ADOPTING THE STORMWATER <br />MANAGEMENT SUMMARY ORDINANCE AND THE EROSION <br />CONTROL SUMMARY ORDINANCE FOR PUBLICATION <br />PURPOSES AS PREPARED BY THE CITYATTORNEYAND AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE CITYADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0).
