MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 22, 2008 The City Planner noted that senior housing could be developed in the R-3 or the PUD Zoning Districts and there is no vacant R-3 property available. Any senior housing proposed in a PUD District would be subject to whatever design requirements are imposed by the City. The Planner also noted that there is not property in the City guided for senior housing, so a rezoning request would first require a Comp Plan amendment. It was the consensus of the Council that there were sufficient controls in place relative to senior housing minimum sizes given the proposed Zoning Code amendment references IBU standards and ADA requirements would come into play. There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Allan, seconded by McGraw, the public hearing was closed. Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2008-10-272 -ADOPTING ORDINANCE NO. 66I UPDATING THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA ZONING CODE AND SUBDIVISION CODE The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. NUMBER OF The City Clerk reported that based on the discussion at the last Council ON-SALE meeting, the City Attorney's office prepared an ordinance increasing the LIQUOR number of On-Sale Liquor Licenses by one. This is based on the request LICENSES of Taste of Scandinavia for an On-Sale Liquor License they can use in conjunction with a Caterer's Permit to provide liquor service at catered events.
