The Planner indicated that the Comp Plan supports the adoption of these regulations. District 10-low density neighborhoods adjacent or very near to Gervais Lake. There is very little developable land in this district, with a few limited parcels containing the potential for an occasional lot split. The primary objective in this area will be to maintain the existing land use and continue to seek opportunities for environmental improvements to protect the lake. District I 1-north and east portion of the City, exclusively single-family residential. There are a few areas of potential development apart from the larger acreage lots. The City recently adopted revised single-family development standards, including stronger environmental protection requirements that will have to be complied with as new development is fitted into the last remaining undeveloped areas of the community. Many of the large undeveloped properties in this area have development constraints. The City will not consider these constraints to be reasons for circumventing the development standards of the community. The City Planner reported that the Planning Commission will also be asked to review the final draft at their December meeting. A Public Hearing will then be scheduled at the December 22"d City Council meeting for action on the Comp Plan update. TERMS OF The City Clerk noted that the terms of office for Commissioners OFFICE Barraclough, Pechmann, and Socha expire on December 31, 2008. She requested that these Commissioners submit letters requesting reappointment, if interested, by Tuesday, December 16, 2008. The Council will make appointments at their December 22, 2008 Regular Meeting. ADJOURN Duray recommended that the meeting be adjourned. Motion seconded by Pechmann. Motion carried 7 - 0.
