STAFF REPORT <br />TO:Parks & Recreation Commission <br />FROM:Sierra Hietala, Recreation Coordinator <br />DATE:May 5, 2022 <br />RE:Little Canada Youth Event - iBall4Life <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />If desired, a motion to recommend staff moves forward partnering with iBall4Life for the <br />proposed event. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Ron Fullford Jr., with iBall4Life a local non-profit will be attending the Commission meeting <br />and giving a presentation to the Commission about proposing a new event for the City to engage <br />the local youth. This event would tentatively take place on July 23, 2022, from 11 a.m - 2 p.m. at <br />Pioneer Park. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Commission listen and ask any questions about the proposed event. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />DRAFT Community Event Proposal from iBall4Life
