MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 22, 2008 <br />Mayor Blesener indicated that Council Member Allan has been an <br />excellent Council Member and will be missed. Allan indicated that she <br />has greatly enjoyed working with the Mayor, Council, and City staff and <br />serving the citizens of Little Canada <br />RENEWAL OF Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider renewal of the <br />PAWN following licenses for the period January 1, 2009 through December <br />BROKERS 31, 2009: <br />LICENSE AND <br />SECOND Pawn Brokers License <br />HAND GOODS Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry, 2750 Rice Street <br />DEALERS Second Hand Goods Dealers Licenses <br />LICENSE Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry, 2750 Rice Street <br />Christian Life Ministries, 2756 Lakeshore Avenue <br />Joe's Sporting Goods, 33 County Road B East <br />Second Impressions, 2800 Rice Street <br />Blesener noted that the Ramsey County Sheriff s Department has <br />indicated that there are no issues of concern with renewal of these <br />licenses. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />these license renewals. <br />Upon motion by Allan, seconded by Montour, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-12-308 -APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF <br />PAWN BROKERS LICENSE AND SECOND HAND GOODS <br />DEALERS LICENSES AS RECOMMENDED BY CITY STAFF FOR <br />THE LICENSE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2009 THROUGH DECEMBER <br />31, 2009 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CUP FOR Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the request for a <br />OUTDOOR Conditional Use Permit allowing open and outdoor storage of <br />STORAGE - construction equipment at 3172 Spruce Street by FPI Paving. <br />3172 It was noted that the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />
