MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 22, 2008 <br />SPRUCE CUP subject to compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner <br />STREET - and the Fire Marshal, as well as a revised site plan showing waste <br />FPI PAVING containers and lighting. <br />The City Planner noted that the application for CUP for outdoor storage <br />reflects the way the property has been used for a number of years, with an <br />additional storage area on the north side of the building. He also pointed <br />out that a revised site plan has been submitted showing parking layout, <br />landscaping, lighting, and dumpster location. The Planner noted that the <br />dumpster will have to be located within the screened storage area. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Keis, seconded by Allan, the public hearing was closed. <br />Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2008-12-309 -APPROVING A CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE OF CONSTRUCTION <br />EQUIPMENT, 3172 SPRUCE STREET, FPI PAVING, SUBJECT TO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY <br />PLANNER AS OUTLINED INHIS REPORT DATED DECEMBER 4, <br />2008, SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE FIRE MARSHAL, AND SUBJECT <br />TO RELOCATION OF DUMPSTER WITHIN SCREENED STORAGE <br />AREA <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COMP Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider a Comprehensive Plan <br />PLAN Amendment, Rezoning to Planned Unit Development, and Concept <br />AMENDMENT, PUD Permit allowing the development of an assisted living and memory <br />REZONING, care community consisting of a total of 44 private apartment units on <br />AND CONCEPT property lying between County Road B East and Highway 36. It was <br />PUD PERMIT- noted that the Planning Commission recommended approval of these <br />COUNTY ROAD applications subject to compliance with the recommendations of the City <br />B EAST - Planner and the City Engineer, as well as documentation from Comforts <br />COMFORTS of Home supporting a low parking demand at their facilities. <br />OF HOME The City Planner reported that this site is currently guided in the <br /> Comprehensive Plan for indusriā¢ial development.
