<br />parcels with more complex detail. This development proposal will have a Preliminary Plat <br />stage and a Final Plat stage for approval of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Additions. Each Final Plat <br />Addition will have a recommendation from the Planning Commission and a final <br />determination from the City Council to obtain all necessary approvals. <br />• The Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District, Ramsey County, and City Engineer <br />have reviewed and provided comments to the applicant for this proposal. All comments <br />and requests have been incorporated into the final development plans. <br />• The Planning Commission reviewed the final development plans at their October 13, 2022 <br />Planning Commission meeting. The Planning Commission recommended approval to the <br />City Council for the Final Plat 1st Addition, Rezoning, and Variance requests. <br />• The final approvals for the Pioneer Commons Final Plat will follow the process outlined <br />below: <br />1) October 26, 2022 – City Council approval of 1st Addition Final Plat, Variance, <br />Rezoning, and Development Agreement. <br />2) 2023 – Planning Commission and City Council – Final Plat 2nd Addition <br />3) 2023 or 2024 – Planning Commission and City Council – Final Plat 3rd Addition <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: <br />City staff is recommending the following actions related to the Pioneer Commons Final Plat: <br /> <br />1) Motion to Approve the Pioneer Commons 1st Addition Final Plat <br /> <br />2) Motion to Adopt Ordinance 868, Rezoning R-1 Low Density Residential to R-2 Medium <br />Density Residential and Amending the Little Canada Zoning Map, and approve a Summary <br />Publication <br /> <br />3) Motion to Approve a Variance for the front and rear yard setbacks of the proposed <br />townhomes <br /> <br />4) Motion to Approve the Development Agreement for Pioneer Commons
