A standard detail can be
provided for inclusion in the plans.
• Watermain should be 8” diameter.
Plan/Profile – Sanitary Sewer (C2.3)
Plan/Profile – Sanitary Sewer (C2.4)
• Is 4’ sump on storm MH #2 required by watershed for pretreatment? If not, I would suggest
removing the sump; it is in a location that cannot be accessed for cleaning.
• The sump on storm MH #5 is also inaccessible for routine cleaning. Provide a storm sump
manhole just north of CBMH #6 that can be accessed from a parked vactor truck in the roadway.
Assume 20’ of horizontal reach from centerline of a vactor truck.
• Flow velocity and erosion is a concern at the flared end entering the iron enhanced filtration
basin. Provide high-velocity protection in lieu of typical riprap (flexamat or similar)
• Include 50’ of perforated draintile out of each catch basin to drain the subgrade
Detail Plates
• Provide a detail for the retaining wall within Outlot A. Include approximate geogrid dimensions,
railing type, and guardrail information.
SWPPP
• Provide a plan-view depicition of the erosion control devices and temporary/final stabilization
methods.

Sincerely,
Bolton & Menk, Inc.

Eric Seaburg, PE
Little Canada City Engineer
