MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 14, 2022 <br />Fischer stated that the difference was about 15% higher than anticipated, but this has been planned for <br />a long time and he hopes there can be funds found to cover the difference. McGraw agrees and does <br />not want to see this project be stalled. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2 022-12-160 A WARD BID FOR PIONEER PARK IMPR O VEMENTS <br />TO ALBRECHT COMPANY, WITH STAFF CONTINUING TO WORK TO RED UCE <br />COSTS, AND APPR O VE CHANGE ORDER #1 <br />The foregoing amended resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />AWARD BID FOR CITY HALL REMODEL PROJECT <br />The City Administrator explained that the City has been working with Oertel Architocts, on -a <br />renovation plan for City Hall which includes renovating the employee restrooms, reconfiguring the <br />front office area to add additional office space and building the front counter to provide ADA access <br />and make it easier to interact, renovating the public restrooms, and adding acoustical panels in the <br />lobby area to reduce the echoing sounds while people are talking. He noted there will be an additional <br />$31,763.82 for furnishings, which includes new work spaces and furniture for the front office area. He <br />stated that $450,000 was budgeted in the Capital Improvement Plan and the total cost for the project is <br />$4335222.27. <br />Fischer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2022-12-161 AWARD BID TO KRA US ANDERSONIN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $401,458.45 FOR THE CITYHALL RENO VA TIONPROJECT <br />The foregoing amended resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PURCHASE OPENGOV SOFTWARE FOR PERMITS, LICENSING, CODE <br />ENFORCEMENT & PLANNING <br />The City Clerk explained that the City has been looking for software platforms that allow residents and <br />contractors to perform common tasks such as building permits, contractor licenses, business licenses <br />online as well as through mobile devices used by staff. She stated after reviewing available options, <br />the City has identified a software platform, OpenGov, that meets all of our identified needs. She <br />explained the OpenGov Citizen Services module also includes a Reporting and Transparency module <br />to allow the City to share data with the public. She explained it allows residents to pay for permits or <br />licenses securely online and track the status of their requests, as well as engage with the City staff <br />responsible for each process. She stated the first year cost includes the purchase price plus the first <br />year maintenance fee. <br />11 <br />
