<br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Keis and Members of the City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Eric Seaburg, P.E., City Engineer <br />Bryce Shearen, Parks & Recreation/Community Services Director <br /> <br />DATE: December 14, 2022 <br /> <br />RE: 2023 Pioneer Park Improvements <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION TO BE CONSIDERED: <br />Motion to award the 2023 Pioneer Park Improvement Project to Albrecht Company in the <br />amount of $1,010,402.50. <br /> <br />Motion to approve Change Order #1 to reduce the contract in the amount of $41,200. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On December 5, 2022 bids were opened for the site improvements associated with the 2023 <br />Pioneer Park Improvements Project. Site improvements within the bid package included: <br /> <br />• New sidewalks and trails throughout the project area <br />• Site grading and drainage improvements <br />• Rainwater gardens and turf mounds <br />• Interactive water feature (push button activation) <br />• Tree and landscaping plantings <br />• Fencing <br />• Site Restoration <br /> <br />Albrecht Company was the lowest bidder with a total bid amount of $1,010,402.50.
