Attachment "A" <br />CVS/pharmacy respectfully requests consideration to amend the existing Conditional Use <br />Permit (CUP}, approval of a comprehensive sign plan, and a minor variation to the City <br />of Little Canada, zoning code section; 903.110 (B), (1i) and subsections accordingly. The <br />subject property is commonly known as the NBC of County Road C and Rice Street. <br />Request: <br />903.110 (B), (I3) Directional/Informational Sigus: (1) To allow <br />directional/informational signs in excess of 4 square feet per sign. (2) To allow <br />fourteen (14) signs where four (4) signs are permitted per° lot. The request <br />includes fourteen (14) directional/informational signs with a total sign area of <br />56.4 square feet where sixteen (16) square feet of sign area is permitted. <br />Applicaut Statement: The request includes directional and infom~ational <br />signage designed to promote positive traffic flow upon entering the overall <br />development, convenience signage offering store hours of operation, and <br />courtesy information located at the drive-thru canopy. The proposed <br />signage will promote positive on-site traffic management for the multiple <br />services offered at this subject site and facility information for the patron. <br />2< 903.110 (T;), (5), (A) "B-2" through "B-I", and "I-1" and "I-P" Districts: (1} To <br />allow an aggregate sign area of 967.46 square feet where 843.59 square feet is <br />permitted, for a total departure of 123.87 square feet of sign area. <br />Applicant Statement: CVS/pharmacy seeks consideration and approval to <br />allow azr aggregate sign area (including all ground, wall, and <br />direetionaUinformational signage) of 967.46 sq ft a departure of 123.87 sq <br />ft. The re-development of the existing property zoned PUD creates a. <br />unique commercial center for the City of Little Canada and the multiple <br />retailers located within the development. The requested relief if granted <br />will provide adequate identification of the multiple services azid retailers <br />that will benefit the general public. The general welfare of the public will <br />be protected through a professionally designed sign program that will take <br />into account the unique property characteristics and traffic circulation both <br />on and off site. Site specific conditions exist which. necessitates additional <br />sign area for the CVS/pharmacy operation azrd multi-tenant shared signs. <br />The design of the development provides cross access for the motorist <br />seeking the services offered by the Valvoline facility, multi-tenant in line <br />shops, and the CVS/pharmacy. <br />
