Specifically, the applicants are seeking an amendment to allow the construction of a 102 stall parking lot on the north side of the site. According to the applicants, the Woodridge campus has seen a rise in facility use due the first warehouse employee shift and increased campus meetings. Thus, an increase to the facility's off-street parking supply is needed. No building construction is planned in association with the expanded parking supply. The additional 102 off-street parking stalls will result in what is now more than 500 parking stalls being provided on the property. Analysis Parking Lot Design. As shown on the submitted site plan, the parking lot will be located north of the site's "loop road" and tie into an existing parking area directly north of the medical facility building. The parking lot is considered well conceived from a design standpoint. All parking stalls and drive aisles have been found to meet the minimum setback and dimensional requirements of the ordinance.
