The Hookah Hideout and the bp gas station recently <br />paid $600 fines for failing a second tobacco check within a 36-month period. The businesses <br />did pass the recheck that was conducted. <br />The Hookah Hideout has not yet corrected all of their fire code violations or submitted all of the <br />required documentation for their license, so their tobacco store license is not included on this <br />list. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of the liquor, tobacco and amusement device licenses for July 1, <br />2023 to June 30, 2024 as presented, subject to receiving all required materials, fees and receipt <br />of satisfactory background checks.
