CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MANAGEMENT’S DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS <br />YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2022 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(18) <br />Lastly, culture and recreation costs have increased $205,186 from the prior year primarily due to an <br />increase in personnel costs of approximately $50,000 due to a full year for the Parks & Recreation <br />Coordinator (started in August of 2021 part time and moved to full time in 2022). The Park and Rec <br />special revenue fund also had an increase from prior year of $31,325 due to more programs in 2022 <br />(the COVID pandemic impacted in programs in 2021). <br /> <br />Net position in the business-type activities increased by $26,359 or 0.25%.
