Such costs must be based on the County’s existing pre-disaster written labor policies. Such <br />policies may not include any contingency clause (must be applied uniformly regardless of a state or <br />presidential disaster declaration). <br />Such work may be reimbursable if the labor costs are tied to the performance of eligible emergency <br />work. <br />•Regular Staff <br />Overtime <br />Premium pay <br />o Compensatory time <br />•Contract Employees: Performance of work by contractors and temporary employees hired <br />specifically for this emergency and directly tied to eligible emergency work. <br />NOTE: Increased costs of operating a facility resulting from an emergency are generally ineligible for <br />reimbursement, even when directly related to the incident. These might include costs such as: <br />•Patient care <br />•Administrative activities <br />•Provision of food <br />•Increased utility costs <br />•Additional permanent staff <br />•Storage <br />7.2.2.1.1.4 Personnel and Equipment Use Records <br />Personnel working on or providing services to work resulting from the emergency will complete an <br />“Activity Log” (similar to ICS 214). The department timekeeper can maintain this log for the employee. <br />This activity log will include:
