Ramsey County │ Annex D: Public Health and Medical 10 <br />incident. Red, yellow, and green triage designations are consistent with the MNTRAC and the availability <br />of hospital resources to handle patients. <br />Most EMS providers in Ramsey County utilize Regions Hospital for medical direction. Other EMS <br />providers that may be needed to respond to an incident within Ramsey County may use West Metro <br />protocols or have their own medical direction. <br />EMS Providers within Ramsey County <br />• Allina Medical Transportation: Arden Hills, Roseville, Little Canada, New Brighton, North Oaks, <br />Shoreview, Mounds View, Vadnais Heights <br />• City of Saint Paul Fire Department (SPFD): Saint Paul, Falcon Heights, and Lauderdale <br />• Hennepin County Medical Center EMS: Saint Anthony <br />• Lakeview Hospital EMS: North St. Paul <br />• Maplewood EMS: Maplewood <br />• White Bear Lake EMS: White Bear Lake, White Bear Township, Gem Lake, and areas of <br />Washington County <br />3.4.2 HEALTH ALERT NETWORK (HAN) <br />The Director of SPRCPH is responsible for all warning and emergency notifications to health service <br />providers in Ramsey County. This responsibility has been delegated to the coordinator of Ramsey <br />County’s HAN. <br />3.4.3 HEALTH CARE FACILITIES <br />The following hospitals are located within Ramsey County; with the exception of M Health Fairview St. <br />John’s Hospital, all are located within the City of Saint Paul. <br />• Children’s Hospital of Saint Paul <br />• Gillette Children’s Hospital & Clinic <br />• Regions Hospital <br />• M Health Fairview St. John’s Hospital <br />• United Hospital <br />All hospitals maintain internal emergency operations plans and have established connections with both <br />SPRCPH and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and are members of the Metropolitan Hospital <br />Compact. All hospitals have a decontamination plan and maintain a level of decontamination <br />capabilities, while Regions Hospital is the primary receiving hospital for patients with CBRNE injuries. <br />The City of Saint Paul Fire Department provides technical assistance as needed. Regions Hospital also <br />stands as the only Level 1 Adult and Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, as well as the only Burn Center on <br />the East Side. <br />
