Ramsey County │ IMT Job Aids 13 <br />4.Liaison Officer <br />PRIMARY: As Designated by EOC Director <br />ALTERNATE: Designated by Primary <br />SUPERVISOR: EOC Director <br />4.1 Role <br />Serve as the sole point of contact for agency representatives from assisting organizations and agencies <br />outside the County/municipal government structure to reduce the risk of their operating independently, <br />and to facilitate decisions for overall emergency response activities. <br />4.2 Responsibilities <br />•Coordinate with agency representatives assigned to the Emergency Operations Center (EOC). <br />•Function as a central location for incoming Agency Representatives, provide workspace and <br />arrange for support as necessary. <br />•Interact with the Public Information Officer (PIO), Section Chiefs, and others within the EOC to <br />obtain information, assist in coordination, and ensure the proper flow of information.
