Ramsey County │ IMT Job Aids 18 <br />6.Operations Section Chief <br />PRIMARY: As Designated by EOC Director <br />ALTERNATE: As Designated by Primary <br />SUPERVISOR: EOC Director <br />For the Ramsey County Emergency Operations Center (RC EOC): Operations Chief and staff are <br />dependent on the type of incident (i.e., Public Health for a public health incident, Sheriff’s Department <br />for law enforcement incidents, etc.) <br />6.1 Role <br />Coordinate all jurisdictional operations in support of the emergency response through the <br />implementation of the County/municipality Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Incident Action Plan <br />(IAP) and coordinate all requests for mutual aid and other operational resources. <br />6.2 Responsibilities <br />•Ensure that the Operations Section function is carried out, including the coordination of <br />response for Fire, Law, Health and Medical, and Public Works. <br />•Establish and maintain staging areas for incoming resources. <br />•Develop and ensure that the EOC IAP’s operational objectives are carried out.
