Ramsey County │ IMT Job Aids 30 <br />9.Logistics Section Chief <br />PRIMARY: As Designated by EOC Director <br />ALTERNATE: Designated by Primary <br />SUPERVISOR: EOC Director <br />For the Ramsey County Emergency Operations Center (RC EOC): Public Works and Property <br />Management serve as the primary agencies staffing the Logistics Section, with municipal and/or County <br />finance departments supporting. In addition, the Logistics Section may be supported by Ramsey County <br />Community Corrections, Ramsey County Public Works, Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office, and/or St. Paul - <br />Ramsey County Public Health depending on the scope of the incident. <br />9.1 Role <br />Support the response effort and oversee the acquisition, transportation, and mobilization of resources. <br />9.2 Responsibilities <br />•Provide resource management and tracking. <br />•Manage all radio, data, and telephone needs of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC). <br />•Coordinate transportation needs and issues. <br />•Manage personnel issues and support the registration of volunteers. <br />•Obtain all materials, equipment, and supplies to support emergency operations. <br />•Coordinate management of facilities used during disaster response and recovery.
