MINUTES <br />PARKS & REC COMMISSION <br />DECEMBER 1, 2022 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: 2023 MEETING SCHEDULE <br />The Parks & Rec Director stated that the draft meeting schedule was included in the Commission <br />packet for review. He noted potential conflicts for the July and August meetings and suggested <br />holding the July meeting one week later and canceling the August meeting. The Commission <br />agreed. <br /> <br />Horwath introduced the following motion: <br /> <br />APPROVING THE 2023 MEETING SCHEDULE AS RECOMMENDED BY STAFF <br /> <br /> The foregoing motion was duly seconded by Hipp. <br /> Ayes (6). Nays (0). Motion passed. <br /> <br /> <br />REPORTS FROM COMMISSIONERS <br />Chair Miller thanked the other members of the Commission for the things they have <br />accomplished during his time on the Commission. He stated that he has been proud to serve and <br />looked forward to reviewing parks items as a member of the Council. <br /> <br />Commissioner Horwath appreciated the leadership of Chair Miller and the enormous list of items <br />they were able to accomplish with that leadership. He commented that he is proud to have <br />served with both Chair Miller and Commissioner Chu. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hipp thanked Chair Miller and Commissioner Chu for being very welcoming to <br />her when she joined the Commission.
