<br />2023 Project Area <br />Total - $756,000 (Fund 400) + $700,000 (Grant and donation) = $1,456,000 total estimated <br />project costs. **Due to supply chain issues, labor shortages, and inflation prices may change, but <br />staff and the City Engineer have done their best to get the most accurate pricing at this time** <br /> <br />NEXT STEPS <br />• October 21 – Playground proposal submittal deadline <br />• October 24-November 3 – Public engagement conducted by Staff on proposals (online <br />community survey, open house/neighborhood meeting, survey sent to schools for youth <br />engagement) <br />• October 26, 2022 – 100% plan set completion and approval for project bidding at City <br />Council Meeting <br />• October 27 – Neighborhood Meeting (Montreal Courts Community Room) 5-6:30 p.m. <br />• November 3 – City Staff to present information to the Parks & Recreation Commission <br />and gather their input to make a recommendation to the City Council for playground <br />purchase <br />• November 16 – City Council Approval of playground (playground can be purchased after <br />this date if approved) <br />• Fall 2022/Winter 2023 – Begin to order site furnishings and an open-air picnic shelter <br />• 2023 – Anticipated construction <br /> <br />
