STAFF REPORT <br />4-12. <br />Upcoming Activities <br />Spring and summer registration for Youth and Adult Activities is open. Participants are <br />encouraged to sign up online using the City’s recreation catalog, but they can also call or come to <br />City Hall to register. Current activities available to register for are: <br />-Martial Arts at the Cellar Gym <br />-Skiing with the Midwest Ski Otters <br />-Archery with Bwana <br />-Women’s Self Defense Seminar in the Park (June 27 or July 22) <br />-Summer Basketball (RevSports) <br />-Flag Football (RevSports) <br />-Ninja Warrior (RevSports) <br />Youth Friday Field Trips: The City has partnered with Roseville and Arden Hills to offer Friday <br />Field Trips for youth ages 6+. We will take a variety of trips each Friday from June 30-July 21! <br />The pickup location will be at the Roseville Skating Center, which will also offer before and <br />after care for an additional charge of $10. The cost for each trip is $60 for residents and $70 for <br />Non-Residents. <br />o Minnesota Zoo <br />o Anoka Aquatic Center and George Green Park <br />o Valley Fair <br />o Conquer Ninja Warrior and Blainbrook Bowl <br />o Science Museum and Can Can Wonderland <br />o Cascade Bay <br />Adult Programs <br />-Master Gardener Class: These virtual classes are typically held on the last Tuesday of <br />the month. Upcoming class topics are: <br />o June 27- Container Gardens <br />o July 25- Herb Gardening <br />o August 22- Food Saving <br />-Adult Trips: Partnering with the surrounding city’s Parks & Recreation Department we <br />are excited to offer our residents the opportunity for adult trips throughout the year. <br />o June 14- Twins Game at Target Field <br />o July 12- Taylors Falls River Cruise <br />o August 16- Explore the Arboretum <br />o August 23- Jersey Boys at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater <br />o September 15- Bridges in the Twin Cities <br />-Adult Activities: <br />o June 27- Women’s Self–Defense (Spooner Park) <br />o July 22- Women’s Self–Defense (Spooner Park)
