Section 2 <br />SUMMARY PUBLICATION. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.191, in the <br />case of a lengthy ordinance, a summary may be published. While a copy of the entire <br />ordinance is available without cost at the office of the City Clerk, the fbflowing summary <br />is approved by the City Council and shall be published in lieu of publishing the entire <br />ordinance: <br />The purpose of this ordinance is to establish a standard procedure for <br />consideration of license suspension and revocation. It provides that the City <br />Council may suspend and revoke a license only after giving 20 days' notice to <br />license holders of the allegations against the license. Failure to attend a properly <br />noticed hearing will result in the suspension or revocation of the license. A <br />second conviction for violating alicense-related City ordinance will also lead to <br />automatic revocation of a license. Nothing provided in the license procedure <br />prevents the criznina] prosecution of any City ordinance violation. The City <br />Council may set license fees from time to time by resolution. All Licenses must be <br />prominently posted on the licensed premises. <br />Section 3 <br />)effective Date.
