(D) T'he provisions of this Section shall not apply to the ownership or use of seeing eye <br />dogs by blind persons, dogs when used in police activities by the City, or tracking <br />dogs when used by or with the permission of the City. <br />1101.200. PENAT.,TY FOR VIOLATION OF THIS CHAPTER. Any person in <br />violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Each day on <br />which such violation continues shall constitute a separate offense. No action taken by any <br />officer under the authority of this Ordinance shall preclude the City from exercising any <br />authority available under State law, including criminal prosecution of any person under <br />Minnesota Statutes, § 347.55, or other related State law, and holding convicted persons subject <br />to the penalties set forth in those statutes. <br />(Source: Ord. 46, Amended: Ord. 154, 231, 267, 289, 301, 375, 422, 513, 582, 665) <br />1101-15 <br />16 <br />
