MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MAY 7, 2009 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of <br />May, 2009 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Michael Everson <br />Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Mr. Jon Hall <br />Mr. Chuck Pechmann <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Kevin Helander, Cable TV <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />WELCOME On behalf of the entire Commission, Chair Dan Knudsen welcomed <br />TO MICHAEL Michael Everson to the Planning Commission. He also thanked Jeff <br />EVERSON Helmeke for his service on the Commission. <br />MINUTES The April 9, 2009 Planning Commission meeting minutes were approved <br />as submitted. <br />PUD Steve Seviola, St. Jude Medical, appeared before the Commission <br />AMENDMENT- requesting approval of a Planned Unit Development Amendment to allow <br />COUNTY the installation of a new parking lot on the north side of the St. Jude <br />ROAD B - Medical Woodridge campus building located at 177 County Road B. <br />ST. JUDE Seviola reported that the facility currently has 357 parking spots. There <br />MEDICAL are 289 employees on the day shift, 66 on the second shift, as well as 41 <br /> contract employees. He also pointed out the need for visitor parking on <br /> the site. Seviola indicated that the parking conflicts primarily occur due to <br /> overlap of the first and second shifts. Seviola stated that the proposed <br /> parking lot would resolve the issues and make it safer for St. Jude's <br /> employees. <br />
