<br />Now with the completion of the plans, this project is scheduled to go for final approval and <br />authorization to bid at the RWMWD. As part of that, the RWMWD would like a Memorandum of <br />Understanding (MOU) signed prior to their October 4, 2023 Board Meeting. <br /> <br />The current estimated project cost is $735,000 and all project costs will be funded by the RWMWD <br />they will provide all maintenance and technical troubleshooting for the first two years the project is <br />online and said they would stay involved as needed over the years. It will be the responsibility of <br />the City to maintain the project for 20 years beginning in 2027 unless it becomes unusable or <br />unrepairable. <br /> <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />A presentation was given to the Parks & Recreation Commission at their January 2023 meeting. <br />There was unanimous support from the Parks and Recreation Commission to move forward with <br />this project. <br /> <br />Mui introduced the following motion: <br />RECOMMENDING SUPPORT FOR MOVING FORWARD WITH THE PIONEER <br />PARK STORMWATER REUSE PROJECT ASSESSMENT <br />The foregoing motion was duly seconded by Anna Abruzzese. <br />Ayes (7). (January 5, 2023 Parks & Recreation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes) <br /> <br />SOURCE OF FUNDS <br />This project would be funded by the Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District.
