MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 6, 1994 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of <br />the Parks & Recreation Commission of the City of Little <br />Canada, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of January, 1994 <br />in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 East Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Ken Wehrle chaired and called the meeting to order <br />at 7:30 p.m., and the following members of the Commission <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Ms. <br />Ms. <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Ms. <br />Mr. <br />Ken Wehrle <br />Howard Remerowski <br />Karen Johnson <br />Berniece Magnuson <br />Larry Hartmann <br />Tom Holm <br />Jim Greger <br />Jim Morelan, Parks & Rec. Director <br />Bill Sanders, Park Consultant <br />Kris VanSchoonhoven, Rec. Secretary <br />Donald Rue, Owner of 20 Yorkton Ct. <br />WELCOME Wehrle began the meeting by welcoming the new Commission <br />members Tom Holm and Jim Greger. <br />MINUTES Johnson recommended that the minutes of the December 2, 1993 <br />meeting be approved as read. <br />Motion seconded by Magnuson. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />1I.~ECTION Wehrle indicated that he wished to respectfully decline as <br />OP'" OFFICERS chairman this year due to his busy schedule. Also, his term <br />expires this year and he indicated that he will not be <br />applying for another term on the Commission. Therefore, he <br />asked for nominations for chair and co-chair for 1994. <br />Wehrle stated that the Commission could try a rotation each <br />month for the position of chair if no one will volunteer. <br />Remerowski stated that he would be willing to help if the <br />chair was not present at a meeting, but he did not wish to <br />be chairman. No one else wished to be considered for the <br />positions. <br />The Director stated that the Commission members should <br />consider nomination to one of the positions so a decision <br />can be made next month. <br />-1- <br />
