MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 2, 1994 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of <br />the Parks & Recreation Commission of the City of Little <br />Canada, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of June, 1994 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Hall located at 515 East <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Ken Wehrle <br />at 7:43 p.m. and the <br />were present at roll <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Ms. <br />Mr. <br />Ms. <br />chaired and called <br />following members <br />call: <br />Ken Wehrle, Chair <br />Howard Remerowski <br />Karen Johnson <br />Jim Greger <br />Berniece Magnuson <br />the meeting to order <br />of the Commission <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Larry Hartmann <br />Mr. Tom Holm <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Bill Sanders, Park Consultant <br />Ms. Kris VanSChoonhoven, Rec. Secretary <br />The Parks & Recreation Commission met at 6:30 p.m. this <br />evening to tour the parks. Therefore, the meeting began <br />late. <br />MINUTES Johnson recommended that the minutes of the May 5, 1994 <br />meeting be approved as read. <br />Motion seconded by Greger. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />TWIN LAKE Mr. Len Pratt of Pratt Homes and Mr. Ed Pardee, owner of the <br />PINES property north of Twin Lake, appeared before the Commission <br />to answer the questions raised at the last Commission <br />meeting regarding the proposed development of single family <br />homes. <br />Wehrle asked what the developer's intent was for use, <br />ownership and control of Outlot "A". Pratt indicated that <br />the homes in Twin Lake Pines will share the outlot. It will <br />be private open space deeded to the lots and controlled <br />under a homeowners' association. They have no formal <br />development of any type for Outlot "A". <br />Sanders asked if they will have association by-laws which <br />will prevent disturbance to the area such as tree cutting <br />and tilling. Pratt stated that they will. He indicated <br />that there is a flowage easement in the outlot as well. <br />-1- <br />
