MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA JUNE 2, 1994 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Parks & Recreation Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of June, 1994 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall located at 515 East Little Canada Road in said City. Chairman Ken Wehrle at 7:43 p.m. and the were present at roll MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Mr. Ms. Mr. Ms. chaired and called following members call: Ken Wehrle, Chair Howard Remerowski Karen Johnson Jim Greger Berniece Magnuson the meeting to order of the Commission MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Larry Hartmann Mr. Tom Holm ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Bill Sanders, Park Consultant Ms. Kris VanSChoonhoven, Rec. Secretary The Parks & Recreation Commission met at 6:30 p.m. this evening to tour the parks. Therefore, the meeting began late. MINUTES Johnson recommended that the minutes of the May 5, 1994 meeting be approved as read. Motion seconded by Greger. Motion carried 5 - 0. TWIN LAKE Mr. Len Pratt of Pratt Homes and Mr. Ed Pardee, owner of the PINES property north of Twin Lake, appeared before the Commission to answer the questions raised at the last Commission meeting regarding the proposed development of single family homes. Wehrle asked what the developer's intent was for use, ownership and control of Outlot "A". Pratt indicated that the homes in Twin Lake Pines will share the outlot. It will be private open space deeded to the lots and controlled under a homeowners' association. They have no formal development of any type for Outlot "A". Sanders asked if they will have association by-laws which will prevent disturbance to the area such as tree cutting and tilling. Pratt stated that they will. He indicated that there is a flowage easement in the outlot as well. -1-
