MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />OCTOBER 11, 2023 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 1 lth day of October 2023 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m. and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members T. Miller, Kwapick, Gutierrez and D. Miller. <br />Absent: None. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Community Development Director Corrin Wendell, Public Works Director Bill <br />Dirks, City Engineer Eric Seaburg, City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller, and Community Relations <br />Manager Laura Linehan. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />WORKSHOP AND THE SEPTEMBER 2 7,2023AS <br />_ VB,b <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by D. Miller. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />None. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />A resident commented on a dangerous intersection near her home and asked how to provide that input <br />to staff. Mayor Fisher replied that the resident could email the Public Works Director with the <br />information. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A GARAGE AT 2572 EDGERTON STREET <br />The Community Development Manager presented a request for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to <br />allow a new home with an attached garage with total accessory structures not to exceed 1,500 square <br />feet at 2572 Edgerton Street. She explained that the existing home would be demolished and new <br />home would be rebuilt. She stated that the existing accessory structure would remain on the property. <br />She provided an overview of the CUP as proposed. She recommended that the Council hold the public <br />hearing and consider approval of the request.. <br />Mayor Fischer opened the public hearing for comments from the general public. <br />
