MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA OCTOBER 11, 2023 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 1 lth day of October 2023 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members T. Miller, Kwapick, Gutierrez and D. Miller. Absent: None. ALSO PRESENT: Community Development Director Corrin Wendell, Public Works Director Bill Dirks, City Engineer Eric Seaburg, City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller, and Community Relations Manager Laura Linehan. APPROVAL OF MINUTES T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: WORKSHOP AND THE SEPTEMBER 2 7,2023AS _ VB,b The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by D. Miller. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ANNOUNCEMENTS None. PUBLIC COMMENT A resident commented on a dangerous intersection near her home and asked how to provide that input to staff. Mayor Fisher replied that the resident could email the Public Works Director with the information. PUBLIC HEARINGS CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A GARAGE AT 2572 EDGERTON STREET The Community Development Manager presented a request for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to allow a new home with an attached garage with total accessory structures not to exceed 1,500 square feet at 2572 Edgerton Street. She explained that the existing home would be demolished and new home would be rebuilt. She stated that the existing accessory structure would remain on the property. She provided an overview of the CUP as proposed. She recommended that the Council hold the public hearing and consider approval of the request.. Mayor Fischer opened the public hearing for comments from the general public.
