MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JULY 7, 1994 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of <br />the Parks & Recreation Commission of the City of Little <br />Canada, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of July, 1994 in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Hall located at 515 East <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Ken Wehrle chaired and called the meeting to order <br />at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the Commission <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Ms. <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Ms. <br />Ken Wehrle, Chair <br />Howard Remerowski <br />Larry Hartmann <br />Tom Holm <br />Jim Greger <br />Berniece Magnuson <br />Karen Johnson <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Jim Morelan, P&R Director <br />Ms. Kris VanSchoonhoven, Rec. Secretary <br />MINUTES Greger recommended that the minutes of the June 2, 1994 <br />meeting be approved as read. <br />Motion seconded by Magnuson. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />STOCKNESS Wehrle stated that the Stockness property located on the <br />PROPERTY northwest corner of Spruce Street and South Owasso Blvd. <br />DIVISION does not impact the Parks and Recreation Commission very <br />much. The Director agreed stating that it would not be of <br />much interest to the Commission. <br />Wehrle recommended accepting the park land dedication fee in <br />lieu of land for the Stockness property division. <br />Motion seconded by Remerowski. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />TURNQUIST Ron and Patty Palmen were present to discuss a possible <br />PROPERTY walkway easement on the Turnquist property located just west <br />of Edgerton Street and north of Viking Drive. The Palmens <br />indicated that they have recently purchased the whole <br />Turnquist parcel from Brian Turnquist. <br />Wehrle explained the City's interest in obtaining a walkway <br />easement on the Palmens' property so residents could view <br />-1- <br />
