<br />Staff requested quotes from five contactors and received quotes from three of them to perform <br />the work and the results are below: <br /> <br />1. $12,750 – Klein Underground <br />2. $14,850 – Albrecht Company <br />3. $21,850 – TA Schifsky <br />4. No Bid – Minnesota Paving <br />5. No Bid – Forest Lake Contracting <br /> <br />Klein Underground has done a number of concrete and asphalt jobs in Little Canada and has always <br />performed quality work in a timely fashion. <br /> <br />SOURCE OF FUNDS: <br />Funds will be used from the stormwater portion of the general fund. There is $10,100 available <br />in the budget so the project and the purchase of three beehive storm castings will put the fund <br />over budget for the year by about $3500. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Staff recommends approving the drainage improvements at 209 Ryan Drive by Klein <br />Underground in the amount of $12,750. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Engineer’s Technical Memorandum <br />Plan Sheet <br /> <br /> <br />
