WHAT IS A STORMWATER UTILITY? <br />2 <br />WHAT IS AN ENTERPRISE FUND? <br />•A Stormwater Utility is an enterprise fund that would collect fees from <br />property owners to fund stormwater management city -wide. <br />•An enterprise fund is a special type of fund that collects fees for a very <br />specific self-sustaining system. Proceeds collected and available within that <br />fund can only be used to maintain the intended system. The City’s Water <br />Utility and Sanitary Sewer Utility are the two other utility funds that the City <br />operates.
