Staff plans to request <br />formal demonstrations from firms that offer a dashboard reporting tool. Additionally, staff will <br />develop a formal request for a quote or scope of work and submit it to the multiple firms. <br />Develop community outreach program <br />A public engagement plan template has been drafted utilizing the International Association for <br />Public Participation framework (IAP2). A number of ongoing activities include meeting with <br />community leaders, enhancing involvement with public safety, and increasing communication of <br />city-wide news. A tentative date for the first annual State of the City and Volunteer Recognition <br />event has been set for February 7, 2024. <br />Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Initiative <br />Staff has met with the League of MN Cities regarding the DEI initiative. A scope of work has <br />been developed for early 2024 and is inclusive of training at both the staff and City Council <br />members to ensure the city as a whole is “speaking the same language” when it comes to DEI.
