Implement parcel inventory <br />During this extensive background investigation into city-owned properties, four PIDs were <br />identified as excess land and recommended to be deactivated by the Ramsey County Assessor <br />Office. A letter was received from Ramsey outlining the PIDs were deactivated, and GIS maps <br />will be updated accordingly. <br />In addition, five properties with a number of PIDS per property were recommended for <br />combination by the county. Fourteen parcels were identified as city-owned and should be left in <br />their current status with no additional action required. Finally, eighteen properties are in the <br />process of being developed into formal right-of-way or redeveloped. Community Development <br />staff will be responsible for completing the continued analysis. <br />Technology acquisition implementation <br />The action item of technology acquisition implementation includes key outcome indicators for a <br />number of software offerings. The MS4 ID and Asset Essential (work order system for Public <br />Works) have been implemented at 100%. The OpenGov online permitting and code enforcement <br />software is nearly implemented at 70%. The electronic timekeeping and PTO tracking system is <br />in the early stages of implementation at 10% completed. <br />Develop alternative policing model <br />Funds were allocated in the 2023 budget and the upcoming 2024 budget to aid in the potential <br />exploration of alternative solutions.
