MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 13, 2009 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (1) Blesener. Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator noted that the rental license fee would be revisited <br />in March or April of 2010. <br />John Iverson indicated that he owns afour-plex and asked how often his <br />units would have to be inspected. The Administrator noted that each of <br />the four-plex units would have to be inspected every two years. <br />Peilen asked how the City will convey program information to rental <br />property owners. The Administrator reported that a mailing would be sent <br />to known rental property owners. Information will also be included in the <br />City's newsletter and on its Web site. One property owner asked about a <br />list of inspectors that rental property owners can use. The City <br />Administrator indicated that he would put together a list of inspectors <br />working in other cities and submit this list to rental property owners. The <br />inspectors will have to obtain a Little Canada license in order to work in <br />the City. Keis suggested that this list also be included on the Web site. <br />CONSENT Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009-5-103 -APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; <br />*CERTIFICATION OF DELINQUENT UTILITY BILLINGS AND <br />TOBACCO FINE TO RAMSEY COUNTY FOR COLLECTION WITH <br />PROPERTY TAXES; <br />*APPROVAL OFA TEMPORARYLIQUOR LICENSE FOR <br />CANADIAN DAYS; <br />*APPROVAL OF 2008 FUND TRANSFERS AS RECOMMENDED BY <br />THE FINANCE DIRECTOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0).
