MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 14, 2024 <br />Mayor Fischer asked how public works and parks are trending in terms of safety and/or incidents. The <br />Public Works Director commented that there have been some minor incidents, such as beestings, but <br />there have been very few incidents that result in a loss of time. He stated that the City's program is <br />very good, which shows. He stated that the addition of the ability to complete online training is also <br />helpful and includes aspects that help to keep people involved. <br />T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024-2-21— APPRO VING THE 2024 SAFEASSURE SER VICE <br />AGREEMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COUNCIL REPORTS AND MEETING UPDATES <br />Kwapick stated that he and Mayor Fischer attended a meeting earlier today with local schools and <br />other cities to discuss legislative priorities and provided an update. <br />Gutierrez provided an update on the most recent Fire Relief Association meeting that she and Mayor <br />Fischer attended. <br />Mayor Fischer provided an update on the League of Minnesota Cities annual elected officials training <br />and a meeting with District 4 mayors and Congresswoman Betty McCollum. <br />ADJOURN <br />There being no further business, upon motion by D.
