MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />JANUARY 24, 2024 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 24th day of January 2024 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members T. Miller, Kwapick, Gutierrez and D. Miller. <br />Absent: None. <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Chris Heineman, Community Development Director Corrin <br />Wendell, Parks & Rec/Community Services Director Bryce Shearen, Public Works Director Bill <br />Dircks, and City Engineer Eric Seaburg. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024-1-7 – APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 10, <br />2024 WORKSHOP AND THE JANUARY 10, 2024 REGULAR MEETINGS AS <br />SUBMITTED <br /> <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kwapick. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Mayor Fischer commented that Saturday at 10 a.m. the Little Canada Historical Society will have its <br />annual open house and welcomed the public to attend. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />FINAL PLAT FOR PIONEER COMMONS 3RD ADDITION AND DEVELOPMENT <br />AGREEMENT <br />The Community Development Director provided background information on the request from Lennar <br />noting that the development will have a total of 178 townhomes and began in 2022. She stated that <br />this will be the final addition of the development and reviewed the overall site plan, noting that 76 <br />townhomes will be included in this phase. She reviewed the major subdivision requirements and <br />information on coordinating agencies. She stated that the Council is asked to hold a public hearing and <br />consider approval of the final plat for the 3rd addition and development agreement subject to the <br />condition related to the BP Oil crossing. <br /> <br />Mayor Fischer opened the public hearing for comments from the general public.
