MINUTES <br />Parks & Recreation Commission <br />June 4, 2009 <br />Lolmaugh reported that the hash cans at Rondeau Park are always tipped over with trash <br />scattered throughout the park. Maida recommended a pole be added to the trash cans to stabilize <br />the cans. Morelan stated the parks maintenance should be at full staff next week with the <br />addition of the seasonal employees and they typically visit each park at least twice a week. <br />Sanders commented that he thought there was more activity at Spooner Park than prior years. <br />Morelan stated there is a group ofnon-residents who are ,playing volleyball at Spooner who he <br />will request the Ramsey County Sheriff patrol, also. Morelan stated that the Spooner Park Upper <br />Shelter is usually booked for every Saturday and Sunday for June, June and August It is a very <br />popular park rental for family reunions and graduation parties. <br />ADJOURN Upon motion by Steinert, seconded by Steinwall, the meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m. <br />R//espectfully submitted, <br />y,~~~~~U~~. <br />Dotty Norgard <br />Recording Secretary <br />Page 5 of 5 <br />
