<br />Page 10 <br />10. List any and all personal or professional relationships that the proposed lead attorney has <br />with the City Council members or members of the community. <br />11. Indicated whether the designated lead attorneys or the law firm currently represent any <br />real estate developers in Little Canada or in any municipality contiguous to its borders. <br />If so, please identify those companies or persons in detail. <br />PERSONNEL AND QUALIFICATIONS <br />Provide the following for the person whom you propose to designate as City Attorney and for each <br />person you propose to designate as a backup City Attorney. <br />1. Professional chronology including legal training and number of years of practice, <br />including date of admission to the Minnesota Bar Association. <br />2. Description of prior municipal experience including cities served in a similar capacity. <br />3. Professional affiliations. <br />4. Current responsibilities of person designated to serve as lead attorney <br />5. Litigation experience and demonstration of a good court track record. Cite examples. <br />6. Knowledge and practice of law relating to land use and planning, risk management, <br />development, general plans, real estate and other related law. <br />7. Knowledge, experience, and practice of law relating labor relations. <br />8. Experience in the area of contracts, franchises and Joint Powers Agreements. <br />9. Experience in the preparation and review of ordinances and resolutions. <br />10. Types of clientele represented and years representing each. <br />11. Office location(s) and accessibility to the city. <br />CITY/CITY ATTORNEY RELATIONSHIP <br />1. Describe how you would structure the working relationship between the City Attorney and <br />the City Council, City Administrator, Department Heads and other staff members. <br />2. Define the standard time frames for response by the City Attorney to direction and/or <br />inquiry from the City Council or City Administrator. <br />3. Describe the systems or mechanisms that would be established for monthly reporting of the <br />status of projects, requests and litigation. <br />4. Provide a statement of how the workload of the City of Little Canada would be <br />accommodated and what kind of priority it would be given including capability to maintain <br />reasonable response times. <br />SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION <br />1. Provide a description of the process used to identify and resolve conflicts of interest. <br /> <br />
