MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 129 2024 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 121h day of June 2024 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m. and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members T. Miller, Kwapick, Gutierrez and D. Miller. <br />Absent: None. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Chris Heineman, Community Development Director Corrin <br />Wendell, Community Relations Manager Laura Linehan, Parks and Recreation Director Steve <br />Anderson, and City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />j <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by D. Miller <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Mayor Fischer commented that the first Touch a Truck event was a great success and thanked staff for <br />their work. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />URBAN LAND INSTITUTE TECHNICAL ADVISORY PANEL PRESENTATION <br />The City Administrator noted the event/reception that was held last week with the Urban Land Institute <br />(ULI) Technical Advisory Panel (TAP). He commented that there were three key areas, which are <br />City owned, that were looked into along with overall improvements that could be made to the corridor. <br />Beth Elliott, Stantek, provided background information on ULI and the TAP. She reviewed the <br />different members that were involved in the TAP and the questions that the TAP was asked to <br />consider. She reviewed the process the TAP followed, insights that were provided from stakeholders, <br />key takeaways from the community feedback survey, the TAP overall guiding principles, and key <br />takeaways for the first City owned site. <br />
