MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 249 2024 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 24th day of June 2024 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members T. Miller, Kwapick, Gutierrez and D. Miller. <br />Absent: None. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Chris Heineman, Community Relations Manager Lauran <br />Linehan, Parks and Recreation Director Steve Anderson, Public Works Director Bill Dircks, City <br />Engineer Eric Seaburg and City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2024-6-70 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE JUNE 12, 2024 <br />WORKSHOP AND THE JUNE 12, 2 024 REGULAR MEETINGS AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by D. Miller. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The City Administrator commented that the farmers market started today. The Parks and Recreation <br />Director commented that there were 14 vendors today and it was well attended. He stated that the <br />market will continue every Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. He stated that they will also be <br />hosting Music in the Park on July 10th at Thunder Bay in conjunction with Vadnais Heights. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />CONSIDER MINOR SUBDIVISION/LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT AT 2251 & 2255 <br />MCMENEMY STREET <br />The City Clerk presented a request for a minor subdivision to adjust the lot line between the parcels at <br />2251 and 2255 McMenemy Street. She provided background information noting that a garage was <br />inadvertently built across the property line and this adjustment would correct that situation. She stated <br />that the Planning Commission also heard this request and recommended approval. <br />Mayor Fischer asked if the property owners on both sides agree with whatever compensation has been <br />decided in this case. The City Clerk confirmed, noting that was a private matter between the property <br />owners before they brought the request forward. <br />
