Nadeau, Jr. <br />The tree inspector for the City of Little Canada has identified and marked <br />Diseased Elm Tree (s) <br />Diameter (inches) <br />located on your property. <br />Diseased Oak Tree (s) <br />Diameter (inches) <br />In accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 18.023, and the rules and <br />regulations of the Commissioner of Agriculture of the State of Minnesota, <br />you are hereby notified that said marked tree (s) must be removed from <br />your property and properly disposed of. <br />In an effort to fulfill the City's obligation under the law and insure that <br />all residential property owners will qualify for Grant -in -Aid money, your <br />diseased tree (s) will be released to the City's tree removal contractor <br />on the 12th day after the date of notification shown above. The Contractor <br />will then be under contractual obligation to remove the tree (s) within <br />the following eight (8) days. The job will include removal of the stump <br />to four (4") inches below the ground line and placement of black dirt in <br />the depression. For an estimate of removal costs assessable to your pro- <br />perty, see reverse side of this notice. <br />If another Contractor removes the trees, you are not eligible for State <br />Grant -in -Aid money under the new State law concerning subsidy payments. <br />You will receive City Grant -in -Aid money. <br />If you decide to remove your tree (s) yourself, before the Contractor <br />arrives, the stump of elm trees must have the bark removed below ground <br />line and no elm wood may be stored unless all bark has been removed. <br />Little Canada Tree Inspector <br />003i <br />Page-1- Clerk's Exhibit no. <br />Meeting-2-8-78 <br />
