2. Planting materials (at the time of planting): <br />Potted/Bare <br />Root* <br />Shade Trees 1 3/4 in. dia . <br />Half Trees (Flowering Crab, 6-7 feet <br />Russian Olive, Hawthorn, etc.) <br />Evergreen Trees <br />Tall Shrubs and Hedge Material 3-4 feet <br />(evergreen or deciduous) <br />Low Shrubs (evergreen or 18-24 in. <br />deciduous) <br />Balled and <br />Burlaped <br />2 in. dia . <br />1 1/2 in. dia . <br />3-4 feet <br />*Mode is dependent upon time of planting season, availability, and <br />site conditions (includes both natural (soils, climate, ground water, etc.) <br />and man-made (irrigation, grading, etc.) influences. <br />Consult the City landscape architect or the City's qualified representative <br />as to correct procedure. <br />E. Trees, shrubs, or ground covers shall meet the standards of the American <br />Association of Nurserymen. <br />F. Regular maintenance of said landscaping, as dictated by the site conditions - <br />(soils, climate, ground water, etc.) shall be required.
