An existing 12-inch water main (agreement November 2, 1) is shown on the plan for Water main Improvement 77-5,6 and the location as indicated will be considered to be the "as -built" location for purposes of this agreement. BE IT FURTHER AGREED, That the City will provide and install as the metering device a B.I.F. Model UVTCl-181 Universal Venturi with a throat diameter of 7.25 inches (for a Beta of 0.45) and a maximum flow rate of 4000 GPM or equivalent, and maintenance of said meter shall be as provided in the Contract for Water Service be- tween the City and Board, as executed September 14, 1970, and the City shall be re- sponsible for all costs of calibration of said meter with calibration at intervals not to exceed five (5) years or at the request of the Board, and BE IT FURTHER AGREED, That ' the Board will perform all maintenance on the 24- inch and 12-inch water mains and appurtenances, except the meter building, meter building piping, and meter accessories within the premises and that the City will r pT nburse the Board for said maintenance expenses; and BE IT FURTHER AGREED, That the City has previously authorized the Board to pre- pare plans and specifications and to construct a 24-inch water main from the south property line of Roselawn Avenue south to the Board's low service reservoir and such authorization was given by City resolution December 14, 1977, a copy of which is annexed hereto and made a part of this agreement; and BE IT FURTHER AGREED, That the City does agree to reimburse the Board for the following itemized work in connection with Project Improvement 77-5,6 a.) Remove and replace 320 feet of chain link fence and posts, estimate $1, 675.00. b.) Inspection, estimate $1,500.00 (includes main construction from line service supply reservoir to terminus of construction on Board Premises). - 2 -
