The earth shall be smooth and free from large lumps, boulders, etc. C. Excavation Excavate all substances encountered to the dimensions and elevations indicated. D. Excess i."aterial Excess cut material encountered and not suitable for use on the site shall be disposed of off the site by the Contractor. E. Gravel Base Fill The Contractor shall furnish and install Class Two gravel at a death of 6" throughout the drive and parking area as shown on the drawings. The entire drive and parking area shall be mechanically compacted to provide a firm., stable base for parking. Edges shall be neat and trim and in conformance to the surrounding grades. \,.� 2.02 OIL: The Contractor shall spray the entire gravel parking area and drive with heavy oil suitable for controlling dust. 2.03 001XRETE CURB STOPS: The Contractor shall furnish and install 48 standard 4" by Q' length precast concrete curb stops as shown on the drawing. The curb stops shall be secured with x 18" rebars driven into the earth (2 each curb stop). 2.04 WOOD POSTS: 2.05 I%Wo� The Contractor shall furnish and install (10) 6 x ti wood posts as shown on the drawings. The posts shall be ►Western Red Cedar or Pine pressured treated with pentachlora.lphenal in a heavy oil base. The top shall have a 1" / 45 degree cha.mferred edge. all posts shall be securely tamped in granular material. TOPSOIL AND SOD: The Contractor shall furnish and install 2" of rood topsoil and sod in the area shown on the drawing as well as all areas dis- turbed by construction.
