Contract 7..'o • 7- -3 <br />T 0 /2 <br />Rough Gradi np <br />The site shall be rough Fraded to permit the finish grades <br />shown on the drawings. till grading to be accomplished <br />under this contract shall be worked carefully such that <br />smooth contours will result that conform to the plans. The <br />earth shall be smooth and free from large lumps, boulders, <br />etc. <br />C. Excavation <br />Excavate all substances encountered to the dimensions and <br />elevations indicated. <br />D. Excess i."aterial <br />Excess cut material encountered and not suitable for use on <br />the site shall be disposed of off the site by the Contractor. <br />E. Gravel Base Fill <br />The Contractor shall furnish and install Class Two gravel at <br />a death of 6" throughout the drive and parking area as shown <br />on the drawings. The entire drive and parking area shall be <br />mechanically compacted to provide a firm., stable base for <br />parking. Edges shall be neat and trim and in conformance to <br />the surrounding grades. <br />\,.� 2.02 OIL: <br />The Contractor shall spray the entire gravel parking area and <br />drive with heavy oil suitable for controlling dust. <br />2.03 001XRETE CURB STOPS: <br />The Contractor shall furnish and install 48 standard 4" by Q' <br />length precast concrete curb stops as shown on the drawing. <br />The curb stops shall be secured with x 18" rebars driven <br />into the earth (2 each curb stop). <br />2.04 WOOD POSTS: <br />2.05 <br />I%Wo� <br />The Contractor shall furnish and install (10) 6 x ti wood posts <br />as shown on the drawings. The posts shall be ►Western Red Cedar <br />or Pine pressured treated with pentachlora.lphenal in a heavy oil <br />base. The top shall have a 1" / 45 degree cha.mferred edge. all <br />posts shall be securely tamped in granular material. <br />TOPSOIL AND SOD: <br />The Contractor shall furnish and install 2" of rood topsoil and <br />sod in the area shown on the drawing as well as all areas dis- <br />turbed by construction. <br />
