General <br />1.00 SCOPE OF i`rOrt:�: <br />The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials <br />to accomplish the parkins: area construction as indicated on the <br />drawings and as specified herein at Spooner Park, located near <br />the Little Canada Jrlement-.ary School on Eli oad in Little Canada, <br />.:innesota. <br />1.01 '%(1OR?. IP;CLUDED: <br />The work shall include, but not be limited to: <br />A. Protection of trees to be retained. <br />L. Site clearance, grading, and removal of excess material. <br />C. Providing, placing, and compaction of gavel base. <br />D. Furnishing and installation of precast concrete curb stops. <br />E. Furnishing and installation of wood posts. <br />`.d F. Oil treatment of gravel surface. <br />G. Furnishing and installation of topsoil and sod. <br />H. Clean-up of site upon completion of work. <br />Division 2. Parking Area -Construction <br />2.00 rRC'IEC T IOi' OF TRESS : <br />All trees shall be carefully protected from da.ma.ge during the <br />course of construction. <br />2.01 GRZ'jDI1%G: <br />A. Clearance and Stripping <br />At the start of operations, the Contractor shall stake out <br />the location of the new construction and obtain approval of <br />the layout from the owner. the Contractor shall then strip <br />the topsoil and remove any extraneous material as necessary <br />for construction of the improvements. The Contractor shall <br />not disturb more than necessary for the proper execution of <br />the work. <br />0140 <br />
