Thank you to our current sponsors the Little Canada Recreation Association, Royal Credit <br />Union, and McDonald’s in Little Canada! <br />Farmers Market: The Farmers Market will take place Mondays from 2-6 June 12-October 9 at <br />2920 Rice Street. We have a total of 9 vendors currently. These vendors will be selling fresh <br />fruits and vegetables, honey, jams and jellies, maple syrup, eggs, elderberry goods, microgreens, <br />handmade crafts, handcrafted woodworking items, and much more. We look forward to <br />continuing to provide SNAP/EBT at the Markets, and the Power of Produce Club for youth ages <br />4-12. <br />Upcoming Activities <br />Fall registration for Youth and Adult Activities is open. Participants are encouraged to sign up <br />online using the City’s recreation catalog, but they can also call or come to City Hall to register. <br />Current activities available to register for are: <br />-Soccer (RevSports) <br />-Flag Football (RevSports) <br />-Ninja Warrior (RevSports) <br />-Volleyball <br />-Fall Wildlife Walk <br />-Gymnastics (room in the 9-12 class) <br />-After-School Robotics with the RAHS FireBears (coming soon) <br />-Build Your City with YEP! (coming soon) <br />Adult Programs <br />-Master Gardener Class: These virtual classes are typically held on the last Tuesday of <br />the month. Upcoming class topics are: <br />o September 12- Home Composting <br />o October 21- Houseplant Success <br />o November 7- Winter Sowing <br />-Defensive Drivers: Improve your driving skills, and if you're 55 or older, get a discount <br />on your personal auto insurance. <br />o October 16 or 17, 4-hour refresher courses <br />o October 23-24, Full course <br />-Adult Trips: Partnering with the surrounding city’s Parks & Recreation Department we <br />are excited to offer our residents the opportunity for adult trips throughout the year. We <br />now have added Mini Trips, which will utilize a 14-passenger handicap-accessible bus! <br />o October 9- Lake Minnetonka Charter Cruise <br />o November 8- Mini Trip- Sidekick Theater: The Marvelous Wonderettes <br />o November 9- Ozark Country Jubilee at Treasure Island <br />o December 6- Mini Trip- American Swedish Institute Tour & Holiday Exhibit <br />o December 14 & 15- Christmas in Duluth
