We will first begin our trip at the Mill City Museum. Here we will go on a self-guided tour
and learn the history of the mill.
"Soon after Minneapolis was born on the Mississippi's west bank, the city's flour milling
industry skyrocketed. Powered by the mighty river and fed by boxcars of grain rolling in
from the plains, the industry gave Minneapolis bragging rights as the “Flour Milling
Capital of the World.” Explore where old mingles with new at Mill City Museum, built into
the ruins of what was once the world’s largest flour mill."
After our self-guided tour we will drive to The Market at Malcolm Yards for lunch.
"The Market features 9 culinary concepts from experienced and upcoming chefs,
offering a range of distinct options and flavors." Lunch options include burgers, sushi,
tacos, pizza, soup, and more. Lunch is not included in this trip's fee, and will be on your
own.
Once we finish lunch, we will head to the Como Zoo! Here we can explore the
conservatory, the Japanese gardens, and the variety of animals. You can either peruse
on your own or join the chaperone as we walk around the Zoo.

Trip price includes a ticket to the location and transportation. Lunch is not included for
this trip. Please bring a credit/debit card to purchase lunch.
Spots are limited. Newtrax busses are handicap acessible.
